Bit Sync & Soft Decom

JDA introduces the PCI-SD4-2, leading the next generation in telemetry software decom cards. Coupled with VuSoft the PCI-SD4-2 recovers up to 4 simultaneous RS422 or TTL PCM serial input streams at up to 32 Mbps per channel or 90 Mbps aggregate. Each channel has internal time tagging accuracy better than 10 uSec. Up to four telemetry encoders are also included on the card with multiple format types and RS422 or TTL outputs. Access to all of the signals is made easy via BNC connectors on the supplied breakout box.

PCI-SD4-BS bit synchronizers maybe added to the PCI-SD4-2 for rates up to 20 Mbps per stream. This daughter card to the JDA PCI-SD4-1 four channel soft decom card for the first time offers exceptional performance on multiple telemetry streams while requiring only one short PCI PC slot.

USB-Decom Appliance

The USB-DA is the only multi-channel USB bit sync-decom unit available on the market today. Coupled with VuSoft the USB-DA can recover (2) simultaneous baseband, RS422 or TTL PCM serial input streams at up to 20 Mbps per channel. External or internal IRIG A, B or G can be used for time tagging of each PCM stream.

(2) PCM encoders are also included on the USB-DA with multiple format types and RS422 or TTL outputs. Access to all of the signals is made easy via BNC connectors. Optionally (2) digital bit synchronizer channels maybe added to provide a complete self-contained USB PCM decom unit connectable to any PC.

VuSoft provides the USB-DA I/O, setup, data processing and display. USB-DA PCM streams along with the IRIG time can be recorded to disk and or broadcast over a network in fully compliant IRIG106 Chapter 10 format.
